七科之变:1950-2000年世界高等教育科类结构的实证研究

探明高等教育发展的事实是深入进行高等教育研究的必由之路。本文通过对35个国家1955—2000年间高等教育中教育、人文、社会、理学、工学、医学、农学七大学科的发展演变事实、发展趋势进行历史的、以量化为主的实证研究，揭示高等教育科类结构的发展趋势，分析发达国家和发展中国家在不同发展时期科类结构的基本特征，探究影响高等教育科类结构演变的主要因素，以寻求其与社会发展的相互关系，为形成我国合理的高等教育科类结构提供借鉴。

Changes of Seven Disciplines: An Empirical Study of Discipline Structure of Higher Education from 1950 to 2000

Explorations of facts of higher education development are of vital importance to research.By carrying on a historical,quantitative and empirical study of seven disciplines(education,humanities,sociology,science,technology,medical science and agriculture)of higher education in 35 countries from 1955 to 2000,this paper exposes the developing trend of discipline structure of higher education,analyzes the fundamental structure features of developing countries and developed countries in different times,explores primary elements influencing the evolution of discipline structure of higher education,to find its relationship with social development and present implications for more reasonable discipline structure of higher education in China.
