| Abstract: | The technique of micro surfacing (polymer modified asphalt emulsion slurry seal) is a good method for pavement maintenance. Micro-Surfacing is widely applied to maintenance of expressway and proved to be a method of good cost performance abroad. But it is still at a starting stage in China today. The technique of micro surfacing on the basis of laboratory evaluation and tentative execution in the Beijing sixth circle expressway maintenance was summarized. The results can be consulted in the similar maintenance projects. |
