| Abstract: | In this paper,the effect of Ti in the V and N coexistent weld metal wasinvestigated systematically.The form of the Ti present was analysed by meansof STEM and quantitative phase analysis.It has been proved that the improve-ment of toughness and strength of the V and N coexistent weld meial can bebest acquired by adding suitable amount of Ti.It can form minute incoherentprecipitation of Ti with C and N.The harmful effect of V and N coherent prec-pitation can be thus avoided,The refined acicular ferrite can improve the tou-ighness of the Weld metal. |
