中国古代的养蚕和文化生活

从地下丝绸遗物的发掘,证明距今5000多年前就有丝绸生产,中国古代黄河流域和长江流域的不同民族,先后发明养蚕。公元前4世纪起,对蚕的生态和生活史有描述,至19世纪,已出版蚕书300多种。论文从蚕的由来传说、诗歌、艺术、医药、丝绸之路和养蚕技术的传播等方面,论述了丰富的蚕文化。

Silkworm Rearing and Cultural Life in Ancient China

Points out the excavation of Chinese silk relics reveals that silk prod- uction in China dates from more than 5000 years ago and sericulture was discovered in different times by the different nationalities living along the Yellow and Yangtze river valleys.The life cycle and ecological requirem- ents of silkworm had been first described before the 4th century,and by the 19th century there were more than 300 publications on sericulture.Also discusses the legendary origin,Poetry,arts,and medicine of silkworm, the Silk Road,and the spread of silkworm rearing technique that constiy- ute the rich and colorful silkworm culture.
