Abstract: | A new type of charge-transfer device (c.t.d.) is presented. The main difference from known c.t.d.s is that the bulk transport of majority carriers is used; this, together with a capacitive decoupling of the carriers from the electrode, yields a high transfer efficiency, possibly even up to the gigahertz range. Experiments agree with expectations. |
