Research on System Engineering of Intelligent Building

This article elaborates on the characteristics of system engineering from four aspects: system integration,system design, system engineering management and project samples and effects.The writer thinks that system integration is the foundation. All intelligent buildings must have system integration. The most important task for system integration is to set a decomposition surface between relevant factors of the system for the purpose of overcoming parameter disturbance and reducing the unknowns that affect the system. The author elucidates his idea of system design by citing Shanghai Museum an example. He argues for multiple reliability design and calls for a correct understanding of the computer system. Being wasteful is nothing to do with being advanced, while the latest computer facilities do not necessarily mean the most appropriate choice. In system engineering management, craftsmanship is the guarantee for system fulfillment.In management, however, quantification must be stressed. The completion and operation of the "intelligent building system" of Shanghai Museum testifies the technological level as well as the determination of the Chinese government and the Chinese museum circles in the implementation of "digitalization in cultural relics". Because of this, China has earned the title of pioneer in the "digitalization of international cultural relics".
