| Abstract: | Nickel ferrite films have been prepared by chemical vapour deposition and by the oxidation of sputtered and vacuum deposited films at high temperature. The interaction of magnesium oxide substrates with these films has been investigated using a wide range of electron optical techniques. Considerable interdiffusion is observed, which is likely to alter the magnetic properties of these films. |
