Abstract: | Acknowledges Robert W. Goy for his contributions to the understanding of the complex and reciprocal relations between hormones and behavior. Working first with rodents and then with monkeys, he provided excellent animal models for the exegesis of sexual differentiation in humans. He and his students formulated balanced views of the advantages and limitations of monkey studies for understanding related processes in people. A citation, biography, and selected bibliography of Goy's work are provided. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2010 APA, all rights reserved) |
