Synthesis and Application of DDB

It has theoretic significance and practical value to synthesize dimenthoxy dicarboxylate biphenyl which is not only a very important medical intermediate but also a new kind of medicament. In this article, a review of the development of this kind of thing was provided.Three isomers of dimenthoxy dicarboxylate biphenyl that are α-DDB,β-DDB,T-DDB were introduced and a review of these three isomers was provided. It was also pointed out the synthetical technology of α-DDB and β-DDB and discussed the new synthetical technology of α-DDB.
