Abstract:A division equivalent method for complex distribution network reliability assessment is proposed in this paper. The most important feature of this method is the integration of tree algorithm and network equivalent theory. The advanced post order traversal is put forward firstly in paper for the division of minimum fault zone (MFZ). Then Regarding the MFZ as unit during the fault analysis can make reliability assessment efficient. In the equivalent process, it takes advantage of the connection function of the root node of MFZ, and the interaction in branches is expressed equivalently by the equivalent parameters of root node. Thus this paper well solved the following problems: division of feeders, selection of equivalent node and simplification of network. Comparison results show that this proposed method has the computational efficiency, and it is suitable for complex distribution network.
