| Abstract: | Chengde Mountain Resort, an imperial garden of Qing dynasty, inherited and made full use of the classical gardening tradition, which was presented in many aspects, such as rockeries making, water handling, plants matching and the arranging of architectures. So undoubtedly, the conservation and renovation of the Resort today should be based on traditional landscaping theory. |
