摘    要:水利工程是国家的经济命脉,提高其工作效率、保障其安全运营是头等大事。全球定位系统GPS(Global Positioning System)以其连续、实时、高精度、全天候测量和自动化程度高等优点,在水利工程中的应用越来越广泛。首先概述了GPS技术及其特点和在水利工程中的应用现状,然后对目前GPS在水利工程应用中存在的问题进行了分析,最后展望了GPS技术在水利工程中的应用前景。

Abstract:Water conservancy is vitals of national economy, and how to improve its work efficiency and ensure its safe rurming is the most important thing. Global Positioning System(GPS), due to its 24 hours availability, realtime, high precision, operability under all weather conditions and automation, is more and more widely used in water conservancy engineering. In this paper, first of all, GPS technologies and their features and present applications in water conservancy are briefly summarized. Then existing problems with the applications of GPS in water conservancy are analyzed, last but not the least the development trend of GPS technology is introduced.
