摘    要:本文突破了由单桩容许承载力确定桩数和外荷载由桩单独承担的低承台摩擦桩基传统设计概念,提出了由容许沉降量确定桩数和外荷载由桩与承台共同承担即按沉降量控制的复合桩基的完整设计方法,介绍了以沉降量为控制指标时的设计原则和步骤。最后简要叙述了该方法在软土地基上多层和中高层建筑中应用的概况及其显著的技术经济效果。

DESIGN METHOD OF CONTROLLED-SETTLEMENT COMPOSITE PILED FOUNDATION(I)
Abstract:The paper effects a breakthrough in the traditional design concept for piled foundation to choosethe number of piles on the basis of allowable bearing capacity of individual pile assuming that the pilestake all the load, advances a complete design method to choose the number of piles on the basis ofallowable settlement and to consider that pil-cap systems jointly take all the load, that is,to becontrolled-settlement composite piled foundation, and introduces the basic principles and proceduresof the design method taking controlled-settlement as the key objective. In this paper the brief descrip-tions of the application of the design method to multi-storey buildings on soft soils and the notable re-sults in technology and economy are also presented.
