SNMP communications based on .NET technology

With the expansion of network size and the increasing of network complexity,more and more attention was paid to network security by network managers.SNMP,the biggest of which is designing simply,get the major vendors’ supporting and applications.Based on the development of a comprehensive network monitoring system,this paper makes use of the SNMP SharpNet development kit interface supported by.NET technical for ongoing experiment and research,finally package SNMP request from establishing,sending,receiving to time out and retransmission and meanwhile achieve a management SNMP communication between the management station and management agents and has laid a good foundation for the development of a complete monitoring system.
