Abstract:Polymer luminescent materials have broad application prospects in organic light-emitting diodes because of its many advantages.However,the blue light-emitting polymer materials are difficult to meet the needs of panchromatic display duo to lacks of luminescence performance,service life and other aspects.Three kinds of polypyrrole methanes,poly{pyrrole-2,5-bis(4-ethylphenylmethane)]}(PPE),poly{(N-methyl pyrrole-2,5-bis(4-ethylphenylmethane)]}(PNPE)and poly{(3-acetyl pyrrole-2,5-bis(4-ethylphenylmethane)]}(PAPE)were prepared by solution polycondensation with different substituted pyrrole and 4-ethylbenzaldehyde monomers.The chemical structure,aggregation structure,thermal property,UV-Visible absorption and luminescence performance of the polymers were investigated via FT-IR,XRD,TG-DSC,UV-Vis and PL.The results show that PPE,PAPE and PNPE generate about 474 nm,455 nm and 422 nm visible emission respectively under the excitation of UV light at about 350 nm,corresponding to the luminescent materials of blue and blue-violet light.Meanwhile,the substituted groups on pyrrole ring in polypyrrole methanes have a great effect on its luminescence performance.The structure design of polypyrrole methane can adjust the luminescence wavelengths of the polymers,as well as develop the luminescence device materials with specific blue color.
