| Abstract: | Production capacity index approach is one of the most important estimation methods for fixed assets investment. Taking an oilfield development project as an example, the validity for the approach is analysed in the case of an index of 0.6.It can be concluded that estimation errors go beyond the allowable limit.A statistical method to estimate the production capacity index is developed. By using this method, investment errors estimated can be decreased. |
