纪念建筑和商业建筑的并存影响了郑州二七广场地区的发展,但纪念性与商业性本质上并不存在不可调和的矛盾,也不是该地区衰退的原因。郑州二七广场地区概念性城市设计通过建构月牙形架空平台、建立商厦整体性联系、形成完整步行空间、营造多层次的纪念氛围、重现二七塔标志形象等对策,实现纪念性与商业性的融合,促进地区的发展。

Conceptual Urban Design for Er Qi Square District in Zhengzhou City

The coexistence of commemorative buildings and commercial buildings has hindered the development of Er Qi Square District inZhengzhou City. However, there is, in essence, no irreconcilable contradiction between commemorative and commercial and they should notbe the cause of recession in the district. Through such measures as the construction of the crescent shape overhead platform, the establish-ment of the comprehensive connection of commercial buildings, the formation of a perfect pedestrian space, the creation of a multi-levelcommemorative atmosphere and the recurring of the symbolic image of Er Qi Tower, etc., the conceptual design for Er Qi Square District inZhengzhou City has made it possible to integrate commemorative with commercial to promote the development in the district.
