Abstract:A growing attention has been paid in alogrithms which rely on analogies to genetic and evolutionary processes in nature. Although early conventional genetic alogrithms were employed to solve non-linear optimization problems, now the research results have been applied to many dif-ferent fields. It is very likely that genetic and evolutionary methodology, as an essential software technique enters the next century. Here we prospect this trend and expound the work principle of conventional genetic alogorithms which lay a foundation for many other evolution methods.
