Abstract: | Architects influence the effects of nature through the making of their buildings. In an analogous condition, magicians perform rituals in an attempt to influence the forces of nature. Yet in contemporary society, questions might be asked as to why architects need to reconsider the connection between magic and architecture, and why it is currently under explored. Is it then possible to learn more about the architects' design processes through a greater understanding of the traditional meaning of magic? |
