摘    要:基于小波变换和Mallat算法的数字视频编/解码及图像轮廓识别,编码端用小波变换将二维图像信号子带分解成1个低频分量和3个高频分量,并结合可编程量化和Huffman编码获得较大压缩比信号的数据比特流,实现数字视频编码.在接收端,用小波逆变换对4个子带信号重构,恢复出原始二维图像信号,实现视频解码.用小波变换的分辨率特性和二维子带谱分析法实现图像轮廓识别.

Abstract:For digital video coding/decoding and image outline identification based on wavelet transform, first, in the coding-side, two-dimensional (2-D) image signal sub-band was decomposed into one low-frequency sub-band and three high-frequency sub-bands by using wavelet transform (WT), and the high-compressed signal data bit-stream was acquired through united programmable quantification and Huffman coding to realize video coding. At receiving-side, four sub-bands were reconstructed with wavelet inverse transform and original 2-D image signal was comeback to realize digital video decoding. Image outline identification was realized with resolution characteristics of WT and 2-D sub-band spectrum analysis.
