中美高校工程管理专业本科教学之比较——以我国 HUST 与美国NDSU 为例

中国和美国都是教育大国，但东西方文化和教育理念的差别带来了大学课堂教学的显著差异。现有研究归纳了美国大学课堂教学中值得中国大学借鉴的诸多经验，但针对具体专业教学的探讨还很欠缺。以我国华中科技大学（HUST）与美国North Dakota State University（NDSU）为例，对工程管理/施工管理专业的课程体系、教学组织、考核评价等方式进行了比较，分析了双方的经验，为国内大学改进工程管理专业课程设置及教学提供借鉴。

Comparison of Construction ManagementUndergraduate Education between China and USA

Both China and the United States of America are heavily investing in higher education which plays an important role inthe sustainable development of economy. Due to differences between eastern and western cultures and education principles，curriculums and teaching styles are quite different in these two countries. Chinese scholars have studied American’s teaching stylesin general for many years，but research efforts on curriculums and teaching styles for construction management program areinsufficient. The authors of this paper performed a comparative study on the curriculums and teaching styles for the constructionmanagement programs between Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in China and North Dakota StateUniversity (NDSU) in the United States. The advantages and disadvantages of both programs are outlined and suggestions areproposed for Chinese construction management programs.
