Abstract:Variable speed electro-hydraulic pumps can greatly improve the energy efficiency of hydraulic power sources. However, when variable speed motors are used to drive fixed pumps as power sources, pressure control is achieved by controlling the speed. In this way, rapid and large-scope changes in flow are not easy to achieve. In the pressure control, the output pressure of the hydraulic pump can be controlled by the motor torque. So as to realize the pressure control that the power source has nothing to do with the flow. Because of controlling the motor torque pertain to the inner cycle of motor, the pressure response rate is swift. The pump capacity multiplied by its delivery pressure is equal to motor torque value, and the control is more direct and simple. The corresponding connection between the output pressure of fixed displacement pump and the motor torque is affected by their productiveness. So pressure feedback is mentioned to achieve high accuracy pressure controlling. The simulation results show that: in this way, the pressure response time is decreased to 40 ms, the return error of static characteristic curve is fewer than 2%.
