| Abstract: | The application of ceramics in metall cutting processes impels development of tool material into a new stage. Internationally it has became one of the most hopefull tool materials which further increase productivity in 90s In China ceramic tools are still in an early stage of development,as new materials they have far-reaching future. This article describes the features and application of ceramic tools,presents the existing problems and points out notices for operation,which is very valuable for their further development. |
