The development of the technology of direct coal liquefaction

The paper introduces the development status and the typical technologies of the direct coal liquefaction in China and foreign countries, and the progress of the Shenhua direct coal liquefaction demonstration project. On base the prospect for the industrialization of the direct coal liquefaction technology in China, the paper indicate that developing direct coal liquefaction is one of the high efficient approaches to ensure the sustainable development of the coal industry of China, slow the step of the environmental pollution worsen, resolve the oil shortage, improve the energy industrial structure, ensure the nation's energy security.
