| Abstract: | The Pro/E and its relative functions were first introduced. Then an analysis was made on how to abstract the common characteristics of the standard mould bases of injection moulds and make clear the structure of the standard mould_base database. A 3D database of the standard mould bases of injection moulds was established. An example of mould design illustrated the practicability of the database. |
