Taking the demarcation beam tunnel construction along Fengjie of Chongqing to Yunyang expressway along Hangzhou-Lanzhou expressway,the national key road,as the example,the paper introduces the application of the total station with non-prism mode in the tunnel section survey,illustrates the advantages and operation steps for the non-prism surveying technique,and analyzes the survey data,and points out the precautions for the use of the total station with non-prism and its application in the survey.
