| 摘 要： | 建筑外部空间是构成城市空间的重要部分，具体可描述为庭院、街巷、广场等。然而中西方在两种不同意识文化的基础上，形成了各自特色鲜明的建筑外部空间。文章通过对中西方典型传统建筑外部空间的比较，分析中西方建筑哲学观及文化的差异。

| Abstract: | External space of buidings is an important part to compose the urban space, it is usually formed by these objects： exterior space which might be yard, lane, square and so on. Different culture and thinking mode between western and Chinese bring the apparently different characteristics of external space. This article analyzes the differences between Chinese and western architectural philosophy and culture by the comparision between Chinese and western typical traditional building＇ s external space. |
