摘    要:2013年落成的四川白水河自然保护区宣教中心是香港中文大学建筑学院轻钢复合建筑系统所应用的第五座建筑物。文章介绍了这一成果及背后的设计思考,特别分析了项目对轻型运输系统(原本用于柑橘采摘的单轨缆车)的集成。提前修筑轻型缆车使得山地建造变得容易,宣教中心的进入也变得有趣,而且日常使用更方便舒适,边角坡地变得更有价值。这一集成定义了山地建造时交通与建筑的新关系——两者应当互为关联,即选择恰当的运输工具并通过它去整合建筑物的规划、设计、建造与使用。

Abstract:Completed in 2013, the SichuanBaishuihe Nature Reserve Work Station is the fifth application of a light gauge steel composite building system, invented by a research team from the School of Architecture of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. This article describes the application's achievement and wide range of underlying design considerations. The critical integration of the project is a light transport system-monorail, which was originally used for citrus harvesting. Its completion ahead of schedule has made hillside construction easier. It brings fun for prospective visitors and provides convenience and comfort for the facility's daily users. The monorail has also upgraded hilly land for this valley village. Thisproject defines a new relationship between building and transportation in mountain development: rather than one being determined by the other, the two parts should be interdependent. An appropriate choice of transportation mode may in turn influence the planning, design, construction and usage of a building.
