Nationalization of Material for Round Die Used for Pressing Titanium and Titanium Alloy Electrodes

The operating characters,failure condition forced and damaged of round die used for pressing titanium and titanium alloy electrodes were introduced in detail and raw material alloying principle for preparing round die was discussed.Alloy constitution and the difference of the properties of Cr12MoV and 5CrMnMo were comparatively analyzed and a new raw material was defined ultimately.The producting results show that the properties of the products fully meet the technical requirements after reasonable forging and heat treatment,and the nationalization production of the die is achieved.
