| 摘 要： | 通信管理机作为变电站自动化系统中的数据枢纽，在整个变电站自动化系统中承担着重要角色，首先分析了科技进步为通信管理机的更新改造带来了可能，然后提出了基于嵌入式Linux操作系统的通信管理机的设计关键，特别是在操作系统、硬件平台、系统应用软件等方面提出了具体的设计策略。按照文中设计关键开发的新一代通信管理机功能上具备实时、可靠、可扩展、丰富网络支持等属性，现场运行稳定，是通信管理机发展的新方向。
