摘    要:湖南省祁阳县茶盘口高岭土矿主要赋存于中生代三叠纪晚世印支晚期二云母二长花岗岩风化壳内。矿体呈似层状、透镜体状,平面分布形似“漏斗状”,展布面积约0.35km2,平均厚度10.42m。矿石矿物成分以石英(48%~58%)、高岭石(17%~19%)、云母(18%~25%)、长石(2%~5%)、其它(2%~4%)。矿区已探获高岭土矿资源量463.2万t,淘洗精矿量约115.3万t。

Abstract:The Chapankou Kaolin deposit in Qiyang,Hunan,mainly occurs in the weathering crust of late triassic Indosinian Muscovite adamellite.The orebody is layered and lenticular,and its plane distribution is funnel-shaped,with an area of about 0.35km2 and an average thickness of 10.42m.The mineral composition of the ore is quartz(48%~58%),kaolinite(17%~19%),MICA(18%~25%),feldspar(2%~5%)and other minerals(2%~4%).About 4.632 million tons of Kaolin resources and 1.153 million tons of washing concentrate have been found in the mining area.
