| Abstract: | In order to explore the opportunities of using vacuum coatings in tribounits, the triboengineering characteristics of unicomponent PVD coatings were studied based on titanium, zirconium, chrome, tungsten and aluminum in sliding friction interfaced with ShKh15 steel GOST 801-78. The study has revealed coatings with the optimal combination of properties, such as the friction coefficient, the wear resistance, the time of running-in, and the wear ability with respect to the counterbody. |
