| Abstract: | A comprehensive review of the mobile communications is taken in this paper. The key techniques involved in the third generation mobile communication system (3G) such as Rake multi-path diversity receiver, channel encoder and decoder, intelligent antenna, software radio are addressed. The perspective of 3G system is also given in this paper. |
