| Abstract: | The optical fiber communication technology has broad prospects
in application. In broadening the application fields of the optical fiber
communication technology, a series of new demands will certainly arise
for the development of said technology. This paper attempts to describe
concretely the recent trends in optical fiber communication technology
from five aspects such as optical fiber, connector technology, optical
sousces and detectors, optoelectronic integrated circuits, and optical
modulators and switches. |
