| Abstract: | Modification experiments were carried out to calcium bentonite with different methods and the co-ordinate retention effect of modified bentonite and cationic polyacrylamide on newsprint pulp was investigated. A comparison was also made on the retention and drainage performance of the self-made and imported bentonite. |
