Automatic Identification of the Explosion Drawings of a Mining Area

In this paper, an identification method is presented, which is used for identifying the scanned explosion drawings of a mining area by a computer. The main idea is how to extract and identify the coordinate grid lines automatically. This method avoids repairing the ruptures of other linear features caused by extraction of coordinate grid lines. The experimental result shows that this method is simple and work efficiently.
