| Abstract: | The main topic of this paper discusses how to use transfer function provided by PostScript to compensate for dot gain in the stage of platemaking,and an example of calibrating imagesetter is given.Finally,guides how to utilize image processing software to compensate dot gain for printing stage are also discussed. |
