＂One Member＂ of the Surroundings——Notes of the Design for the Tianmu Lake Tourist Reception Center

This paper introduces the whole process of Tianmu Lake Distribution Center, a new building of Tianmu Lake Scenic Area, from its schematic conception to its completion and delivery for operation. From planning layout to formal operation, it discusses in what kind of stance the building should intervene in and coordinate with its surroundings, so as to eventually set up a new and meaningful spatial site exclusive to this piece of land, and accordingly trigger diversified human activities.
