Abstract:Methanol reforming technology will play an important role in putting fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) into commercial application. This review is referred to the research and development status of conventional catalysts (Ni based catalyst, Pd based catalysts and Cu based catalysts) and new catalysts (one step reforming catalysts) for methanol reforming, and the strongpoint and limitation of different type catalysts are also discussed.
