干气密封在离心泵上的应用

This dubutanizer reflux pump(itme no.:P-6201) is the core equipment of our company’s moderate hydrocracking unit.The processed fluid is light hydrogen containing 30% of hydrogen sulfide,which is deemed a strong neurotoxin,combustible and explosive.It will expose great danger to on-site personnel and environment once it leaks into atmosphere.Meanwhile,high concentration of hydrogen sulfide in the processed fluid may cause harm to people and environment pollution during maintenance.At the present time,mechanical seal used on P-6201 is a single face seal,which has short service life.As people’s concern for environment grows,requirement for the security and reliability of refinery utilities has been rigorously enforced.For the consideration of environment,safeness and long service life,the company is obliged to revamp the mechanical seals used on these pumps for hazardous fluids.
