基于OCI和ODBC异构数据库通用接口设计

文中分析了ODBC和OCI数据库接口的特点,为解决异构数据库的共享,提出了一种数据库应用程序连接数据库的方法———通用数据库接口。首先明确了通用数据库接口模块在系统中的位置,接着分析了该接口模块具备的具体功能,介绍了模块设计中的三个层次,然后总结了该接口模块的优点。封装了ODBC和OCI的通用数据库接口,可以实现异构数据库的互连,同时可以提高系统的性能。通过数据库调用函数来实现对异构数据库的操作,该通用数据库接口具有通用、简单、可扩展、可优化等特点。

Design of Heterogeneous Database Universal Interface Based on OCI and ODBC

The character of ODBC and OCI database calling level interface is analyzed in the paper.At the same time,to solve the share of heterogeneous database,a method of database application program linking database is provided,that is universal database calling level interface(UDB CLI).Firstly,the position of UDB CLI module in the system is mentioned,secondly analyzes the material functions of this module and introduces three layers of this module in design,then summarizes the advantages of the UDB CLI module.Encapsulated with ODBC and OCI,the UDB CLI can not only interconnect the heterogeneous database but also improve the performance of the system.By communicating with the heterogeneous database by calling a series of database functions,the UDB interface is universal,simple,extensible and can be optimized.
