Effect of test procedures on geonet transmissivity results

Following ASTM D 4716 for determining transmissivity of geonets may not in itself be adequate to generate reproducible numbers between laboratories and values may be misleading when considering them for design purposes. Variables not specified in the test procedure, such as seating time, test temperature and aspect ratio have significant impact on test results. These and other factors must be taken into consideration when creating a test program intended to provide design information.
