贮氢合金氧化量的检测及其性能衰减研究

摘    要:用pH=10的EDTA溶液洗涤循环一定次数后的金属氢化物电极,再用ICP-AES分析其中的La3+和Ni2+以确定循环中被氧化的La和Ni。结果表明:MmNi3.55Co0.75Mn0.4Al0.3合金中的稀土元素优先被氧化。随着循环次数的增加,这种现象越明显。贮氢合金的氧化导致充电贮备容量的降低,因而电池内压和充电电压不断升高,电池充电时很容易析出气体。

Abstract:MH electrodes after a certain number of charge - discharge cycles were washed with EDTA solution (pH = 10), the dissolved La3+ and Ni2+ in the solution were analyzed by ICP - AES to determine the amount of La and Ni oxidized during cycling. The result indicated that Mm contained in hydrogen storage alloy was oxidized preferentially. The oxidation became more obvious with the increase of cyclic numbers. The oxidation of the hydrogen - storage alloy resulted in the decrease of charging reserve capacity, therefore, the internal pressure and the charging voltage of MH/Ni battery increased gradually, the gases evolution became more easily when the battery was charged.
