| Abstract: | The load variation with peaks and hollows in power system is an inexorable law. On this basis, the function of hydropower units operation for peak-load adjustment is expounded. The problems concerning peak-load adjustment in northwest power system are discussed and exploratory measures to improve the function are proposed. |
