| Abstract: | This paper reviews the structure and characteristics of needle coke, and the correlation between the structure and properties of needle coke. The paper provides an overview of the composition and structure of feedstocks that leading to needle coke was needed, and focu ses on the influence on the structure of feedstocks on the formation of needle coke.Several app roaches to optimizing the feedstocks for carbonization are discussed.; |
