相对折射率对于颗粒尺寸测量结果的影响分析

摘    要:根据Mie光散射理论,如果颗粒的尺寸(或分布)保持不变,那么由颗粒的不同相对折射率就可以得到不同的散射光能量分布。因此,颗粒尺寸测量仪的测量结果将受到被测颗粒的相对折射率的影响。本文将从理论计算和实验结果两个方面来分析被测颗粒的相对折射率对测量结果的影响。

Abstract:Particle Size Analyzer based on light scattering by small particles now becomes widely used in many fields. In principle, the scattered light is quite different for the particles with different refractive index although the size or the distribution of the particle is the same. Therefore,the measurement results given by the Particle size Analyzer will be influenced by the refractive index of the measured particle. In thhis paper,the effect of the refractive index on particle size measurement is discussed from some theoretical calculations and experimental results.
