Abstract:The cold experiments measured by a laser phase dopple particle analyzer(PDA) and pilot tests are done about effects of the central air on the performance of the radials bias combustion swirl Pulverized coal bumer(RBC). The cold experiments show that the cental air has great influence on the flow pattern and particle concentration at the swirl burner exit. Pilot tests show that the central air has great influence on the ed coal combustion. In addition, the central air has little contribution to the NOx. emission.
