摘    要:全彩LED(发光二极管)显示屏的光电特性与CRT(阴极射线管)之间存在着较大的差异,如直接使用现有的电视信号,必然会造成低亮度段的亮度跳变太快,使图像的层次感欠佳。针对这个问题,在分析视觉灵敏度特性和亮度变化关系的基础上,提出了基于人眼视觉特性的灰度校正方法。此方法综合考虑了LED发光特性、人眼观察亮度变化的有限性和人眼对不同颜色的敏感特性的影响,并在此基础上进行了优化。通过实验得到了适于LED显示屏的校正公式,经过校正,得到了较好的图像质量。

Abstract:The full color LED display screen characteristics are very different from the photo-electrical characteristics of CRT. If one uses the existing television signal directly, it will inevitably make the brightness in low brightness section jump too quickly, thus making the feeling of the picture level not very good. This article focuses on this problem, and a gray scale correction method which is based on the visual characteristics of human eye is proposed, basing on the analysis of the relations between the characteristics of eye response and the brightness change. This method consideres the fluorescent characteristic of LED and the influence of the limitation of human eye observation of brightness change and the sensitivity characteristics to different colors of human eye comprehensively, then optimized the responce on this foundation. We obtained a correction formula which is suitable for the LED display screen by experiment, and got pictures with good quality through correction.
