Abstract:A new method is presented to achieve control overchaotic motion in the perturbed planar Hamiltonian system usingnotch filter output feedback control. Based on Melnikov ' sMethod which is perturbation criteria for chaos, the suitable pa-rameters of notch filter are computed to direct the chaotic mo-tion towards desird low-period motion. And numerical simula-tion results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness ofMelnikov' s analysis.
