| Abstract: | The quality of impregnated carbon and graphite products and the requirement for impregnating pitch are analyzed. The reasons why the impregnating quality of graphite products could be improved are explored when the mid temperature pitch with low QI is used as impregnant and when activators or surfactants are used to decrease the viscosity of impregnating pitch. |
